The Fading Night

Shrieks howl as evil deeds are seen
yet unseen for the time being
The cry of Heaven cannot tolerate
scenes of evil alloted to the righteous for long

If stars were ever to cease shining
in the the sky pitch black
it is time for concerning glances of
Utter darkness and gnashing of teeth

Staggering drunks have their fill
for now under the cover of night fall
to be lain uncovered in an age of dawn

There are chosen stars singing now in both
East and West
Praying for Justice, and the rending of heavenly
night sky with sun beams enveloping bright

As a day is a thousand years and a thousand years a day
so is the suddenly of God

Stature

Sometimes I am afraid
Of an insecure eye
Of Saul in us all
The One outwardly rugged and tall
The Second inwardly peevish and small
Kingship making light of the altar call
The realized weight of it all
makes for slippery falls

The eye is naked and weak
not regarding the sacrifice
procuring the sword first
while masking the pain under
Royal Robes of ultra-violet

The seeming covering is faltering
and the crown covered with the dust

Is he among the prophets?
To be determined in judgment law......
